Trials

Do you ever wonder why? We have had so many trials these past couple of weeks that Brett and I have been constantly wondering "why". It started first with a payroll mess up that cost us a pretty hefty amount on his paycheck two weeks ago. Okay, a small bump in the road. The next Friday he had a blow-out on the freeway and we ended up needing 4 new tires on his car because he lives in his car during the day. Another little hiccup you say. Fast forward to Wednesday night. Brett worked his butt off for deadline at work bringing in three new accounts and when he left work that night someone had broken into his car, broke the back window and stole his I-pod, FM Modulator and all his CD's. By now I am down on my knees. Well to top it all off. There was another payroll glitch that we thought was fixed and we are back to square one again with a smaller than expected paycheck. I know it may seem like I am rambling on about things we have no control over but all I have to say right now is "WHY?".

EASTER SUNDAY

Our holidays are always festivity filled days and Easter was no exception to that. We started out the morning with Church and then a visit to Pa and Joanie's house for an Easter egg hunt and some lunch followed up with yet another Easter egg hunt and dinner at Gram's house. The holidays are exhausting but they are filled with memories the kids will never forget.

Here are the pics of the kids in their Easter duds. Let's just say it was a good thing these pictures were free thanks to our horrible experience at Kiddie Kandids at Christmas time. Brynlee's dress was too big, Harlee was grumpy and well, Kiddie Kandids was Kiddie Kandids. Next time I say I am going to get the kids pictures taken please remind me not to go to Kiddie Kandids. Happy Easter!

Princess Wishes

On Saturday all the girls went to Disney's on Ice-Princess Wishes. Of course the little girls had to dress up like a princess and the "older" girls got to wear Princess Crowns. We went to lunch before hand at Noodles and Company and just had a fun girls day out. Brynlee, Erin and Sydney loved it. The look on Brynlee's face when Cinderella came out in her sparkling carriage was priceless. I wish that I would have been a little quicker with the camera to catch that moment.

PLAY BALL!!!!

It's that time again-it's baseball season. We have just finished up try-outs and Trevin has his first practice on Wednesday. Trevin will be playing for the Minor Orioles and McKade will be playing for the PeWee Dodgers. Both boys are really excited to get started. This is a step up for each of them this year age wise so it will be interesting to see how they progress this year. I guess it is so long until June because we will be living at the baseball field until then. J/K!!!

Going Bowling

For family night this week we played bowling on the Wii with the kids. I can't believe how Brynlee can kick everyone's butt. They absolutely love that game and it's a big competition with the whole family now. Denice had to get herself a Wii so that she could beat the kids at bowling- especially Brynlee.

Just Because

I haven't posted in a while but didn't have too much to post about because it's winter and what do we do in the winter time-NOTHING!!!!
