Field of Dreams

Trevin's undefeated Pirate's team had a chance to do The Field of Dreams at the Bee's Game. The boys get to go out on the field before the game and say their name and position they play and then go stand out on the field in their position with the Bee's Players. They stand out there with them for the National Anthem and then they take them on a tour of the locker rooms afterwards. This was an amazing experience and Trevin loved every minute of it.

Closing Ceremonies

I forgot to post about closing ceremonies. McKade's team came in 4th in the Minor Division and Trevin's team was undefeated and came in 1st in the Major division. I am so proud of my boys and all their hard work and dedication this season.

Dance

It was time for dance try outs again. Brynlee didn't really get much of a break for summer which is the way that she wanted it. She has been working very hard at tumbling and is excited to start a new year of dance. She is the newest member of Team Topaz and is so excited. All of her friends moved to the same team with her. The biggest part of her new team is that now she gets to do a Jazz and Lyrical routine at competition. Add this to Hip-Hop and her solo and she will perform 4 routines for competition this year.
Harlee is really coming along in her tumbling and showed me just yesterday that she can do a backbend all by herself. I am truly amazed everyday by those kiddos!

My All Stars

I am so proud of both of my boys. They both made the All Star teams for their age group this year. This meant an extended season of baseball but we have all been loving it. The weather has finally decided to make up its mind and I love spending the nights at the baseball fields with good friends! They played in a pre-tournament and didn't make a very good showing but the actual district tournament is this weekend and they have both practiced hard all week. Good Luck Copper Hills Grizzlies!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dads in my life. We celebrated Father's Day with breakfast at my dad and Joanie's house. We spent several hours there and then headed to Terra and Clint's house for dinner with Brett's dad. I am so grateful to all those dads in my life, especially to the father of my children. They are so lucky to have you as their dad!

Rain, Rain Go Away

It has been the rainiest baseball season ever. We finally got a small spell of nice weather and headed to the baseball field clearly dressed for warm weather. A crazy storm moved through and poured for about 10 minutes. The girls really enjoyed splashing in the puddles afterward!

Lagoon

It has been 6 years since we have been to Lagoon. It's a little pricey and there isn't much for little kids to do there. This year my mom was able to get some complimentary passes and pretty much all we had to pay for was parking. We didn't have a whole day to spend but we got there when it opened and spent a good majority of the day there before it started to rain, really hard. We all had a blast and the best part was, it was free. Harlee was really brave and even went on a few of the kiddie rides by herself. Trevin was the brave one and went on the Samurai by himself. Bryn was a little wary of a few of the coasters but did go on the white wooden roller coaster with Brett.

Harlee's Turn to Shine

It was finally Harlee's turn to show off her stuff. She had a dress rehearsal in the afternoon and her performance in the evening. She was a little nervous but she did great and she even remembered to smile!

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

Today marked the end of another school year. I am so proud of my kids. Trevin finished off the school year with 5 A's and 1 A-. McKade got 2 A's, an A- and a B+. Brynlee mastered everything that was taught in 1st grade and is now reading on a 3rd grade reading level. We celebrated with lunch at Red Robin and a massive desert. Now, let summer begin!
