Trevin had so much fun taking Golf Lessons from Mountain View that I decided to sign both of the boys up this time while they were off track. They both absolutely loved it and now I think we have created monsters. They keep asking when they can go hit a bucket of balls and when will someone take them golfing. I guess there could be worse things for them to take an interest in so I will take what I can get. You have to admit that they do look all grown up and pretty handsome. I sure love my guys!!!

Family Pics
I wanted to have some more family pictures taken but I am really tired of the traditional studio photos were everyone is so neatly posed. They always look the same. I asked my wonderful sister-in-law Terra if she would take some pictures of us at the park. We ended up at Murray Park and the pictures turned out awesome. She captured exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again Terra for putting up with the crazy Ruoti Family.

Pinewood Derby
Our Scouts had their annual Pinewood Derby tonight and this was Trevin's 1st opportunity to participate. I don't think he was exactly sure what to expect. He wasn't all that interested in helping Brett make the car. I think Brett had more fun than Trevin did with that part. We had to weigh our cars in on Monday night and ours was too heavy by .5 oz. We removed the weight but ended up having to drill about 6 or 7 holes in the bottom to get it down to the right weight. I guess that because of the bad experience last year we almost didn't get to have a race this year. They brought someone in who had a computerized track so there was really no way to contest any of the races. Trevin's car ended up in 4th place out of 21 cars and he was in 7th heaven. I am sure that next year he will take a bigger interest in helping Brett with the car.
Kids
I have all these random pics of the kids but didn't want to make 100 posts on my blog so I thought I would put them into a slide show. These are the goings on in our home. Harlee took her first four steps last night and thanks to a sinus infection my head is really groggy and I forgot to wip out the camera. I will try and get some more pics of her in the next few days. She is still pretty timid and has to be enticed by something to really get her to walk.

The Hills

I know, I know-it's totally trashy, mind numbing television and a little on the high schoolish side but I am totally addicted. I can't wait for the season premiere tonight. I want to jump through the screen and hit spencer and slap Heidi across the face for putting up with it but I am a faithful recorder and watcher of this lovely MTV show. Please chime in if you love it as much as I do!!!!

Breaking Dawn

I finally finished this book on Thursday night and can I just say "LOVED IT!!!". I was a little concerned towards the end of the book with the route it looked like she was going to take with the characters but she wrapped it up very nicely and really left nowhere else for the book to go. I saw the trailer for "Twilight" last weekend at the beginning of "The Dark Night" and now I can't wait for the movie. Brett even said that it looked like a movie he would go and see. Counting down until December 12.
